Time and Place
For Commercial Services visit My Account to review your pickup schedule. In My Account you may also view your estimated time of arrival (ETA) on your scheduled day of service to see when you will be serviced.
Tip: Additional charges may apply for any additional container that is above your specific service level. To verify your service level, please Contact Us.
To prevent injury to our drivers, please ensure that all non-Waste Management containers are no larger than 32 gallons and weigh no more than 40 pounds when full. Do not use 55 gallon drums, paper sacks or boxes as trash containers. To reduce odors and prevent litter, please bag all trash items. If you have a separate container for recycling, please do not bag recyclables in plastic bags, but place them loosely in the container. This will improve sorting of recyclables at the processing facility.
Tip: Since our crews may begin pickup service earlier than usual, please place your container out by 5 a.m., or the night before, on your service day. Please also keep your container accessible - parked vehicles or other obstacles may prevent us from servicing your container.
When you place the right materials in the right container, it benefits you and your community, and protects the environment. When you place the wrong materials in a container, it can harm the environment, injure workers and result in additional charges to your account. Waste Management can refuse to pick up containers containing unacceptable recyclable materials and it may result in a contamination charge.
Make the promise. Doing just these three things will make huge difference.
- Recycle all empty bottles, cans and paper
- Keep food and liquids out of your recycling
- Keep plastic bags out of your recycling
