How can I opt-in to text notifications from Waste Management?
The text notification feature is currently available in select areas only. Customers in participating areas will receive an email notification to update preference when the text message communication preference is available.
Customers who have selected text messaging as their communication preference will receive an opt-in message from Waste Management’s short code (46266-US) or (68875-Canada) on their mobile phone. Customers are instructed to reply YES to confirm their enrollment. An additional text message is sent to the customer to confirm they have opted into this feature.
How do I stop receiving text notifications from Waste Management?
To stop text notifications from Waste Management, simply text STOP to (46266-US) or (68875-Canada). You will receive one additional text message confirming that you’ve been removed from receiving any future text message notifications.
What type of text notifications will I receive?
Text notifications from Waste Management will only include information on your services, invoices, and/or payments, as well as any updates on your account. You will not receive any sales or marketing-related text notifications.
Are text notifications from Waste Management free?
Waste Management does not charge you to send you text messages. However, depending on your mobile service plan, standard messaging and data rates may apply from your carrier. Please check your mobile plan for more information. You are not required to opt-in to receive text notifications as a condition of purchasing any Waste Management service or product.
Who can receive text notifications from Waste Management?
Our text notification feature applies to mobile numbers for U.S. and Canada only. Landline and international numbers are not eligible for this feature.
